One-day (sometimes overnight) unplug retreats give you time to reset, refresh, and reconnect. A great getaway when you only have limited time.
Be Still Christian Meditation Retreats are typically 4 days, and 3 nights and allow time for instruction, practice, reflection, and time with God.
These weekend retreats are limited to 8 women and focus on inner healing, wellness, and rest. Get victory over issues that you’re struggling with.
This 8 day, 7 night international retreat includes meditation, gentle faith-based yoga, workshops, activities, excursions, and more.
God’s Word says that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. On this retreat you will be with others who are also wishing to explore or deepen their Christian meditation practice and quiet time with God. You’ll learn and develop proven spiritual practices to transform your life, draw closer to the Most High, manifest the desires of your heart, and live with more peace, joy, and contentment. Learn from instructor, Rhonda Jones who has been teaching Christ-centered meditation for many years, and enjoy yourself in a peaceful, secluded setting. During this weekend you’ll learn how to establish a daily Christian meditation practice and quiet time with God that you can practice at home.
Reset: Every now and then we need to push the reset button and move forward with a clean slate. Come and let go and release all that may be weighing you down so you can begin your journey with clarity and a fresh new vision.
Reflect: Reflect on what is and is not working in your life and then make new choices or decisions to live by your values, dreams, and truest desires. Many times our behaviors don’t match our deepest values or how we want to feel. Reflecting helps us reevaluate what is really important to us and then move in that direction.
Reconnect: If you are not filling your spiritual gas tank regularly, you are probably running on fumes or empty. We need to take time outs to reconnect with Father God as well our ourselves. Being still, dwelling in silence, abiding in Christ presences and Christian meditation can help you to build your life on a spiritual foundation that will carry you through the stressful times of life as well as strengthen your Christian walk.
At a God Getaway with retreat we won’t bog you down with a lot of activity. We want you to rest, reset, and reconnect with God so that you leave empowered and strengthened. In 1 King chapter 17 of the Bible, God sent Elijah to a quiet and secluded place in the wilderness where he rested for weeks while He provided for Him. Later in 1 King 19 the same thing happened after Elijah had done a mighty work for the Lord and was tired and weary. In fact, he was so weary that he asked God to kill him right then and there.
While he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” 5 Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep.
All at once an angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.” 6 He looked around, and there by his head was some bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.
The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.” 8 So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.9 There he went into a cave and spent the night.
So here is the part that stands out for me, while Elijah was in a state of rest and surrender to the Lord, God tells Him to go outside because His presence is about to pass by.
The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.
Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
Three times during this event the Lord asked Elijah, “What are you doing here…? God is interested in knowing the depths of our heart. He knows already, but many times he wants us to recognize and communicate our needs so he can provide the solution. Asking, why do I need to some to a place of solitude and respite will help you to discover what it is you need the Lord to do for you or in your life at this moment. A God Getaway Retreat gives you space and permission to ask these important questions and then wait the God to answer.
One thing you should know about me is that I am a disciple of Christ and a lover of Father God’s Living Word, but I am not into religion, tradition, or a lot of man-made rules and regulations. Yeshua told us to share the good news and to love one another. I believe that true transformation happens in the heart as we learn to personally connect with God through our inner spirit. My desire is to support you in your personal and spiritual development by being led by the Holy Spirit within. I don’t have the answers, but Father God does, and you can learn to access his wisdom in the right environments (internally and externally) and with the right tools. If you’re about uplifting your mind, body, or spirit, this retreat is for you! I’m all about healing, transformation, love, and light!
